Here the crew pour over topos at Jamshid's old pad (he now has a cush new pad) in prep for the upcoming field season (Iran 2000). The head and hair in the foreground belong to Deanna (Gary's Wife and a grad student in geology at Cal State Long Beach). She is bushed from the flight, and has crashedout on the chair...I would show the photo but that would be too unkind.
