Welcome to my picture gallery

February, 2003

This is a photo of me and the Indian pot I found while mapping in the Anza Borrego Desert. I was told by a professor of mine that the Native Americans used to set these pots out in the gullies to collect water during the rains. From what I could see, this pot was completely intact. The grad student that I was working with and I decided to leave the pot in place and give the local anthropologist the gps coordinates so that he or she could excavate the artifact.
