This is new Jupiter satellite S/2000 J8 imaged with the 8K CCD camera at the University of Hawaii telescope. The images are compiled into a gif movie that shows the motion of the satellite and of two mainbelt asteroids imaged simultaneously. The satellite is the object towards the bottom of each image.
